Her research spans polypharmacy in elderly care, chronic disease management, and pharmaceutical prevention, particularly statins for cardiovascular disease. Recent publications analyze temporal inequality in healthcare, decision-making for antidepressants in seniors, and ethnographic approaches to medication use. She employs qualitative methods and document analysis to study medication practices in daily life and clinical settings.
Current projects funded by the Velux Foundation examine antidepressant prescription for frail seniors, with a focus on distributed decision-making and the sociocultural implications of 'too much medicine'. Her work contributes to patient-centered care frameworks and policy discussions on appropriate pharmaceutical use.
