Dr. Sofia Bianchi Mancini is a Research Fellow at the Max-Weber-Kolleg of the University of Erfurt. She serves as a subproject leader for the Collaborative Research Centre Transregio 294, "Structural Change of Property", specifically leading Subproject A01, "Ambiguous Property: From Late Antiquity to the Middle Ages". Her work investigates the legal and cultural transformations of property concepts during the transition from Late Antiquity to the medieval period, focusing on how ownership and societal structures evolved under historical pressures.
