Snezana T. Tanaskovic

Prof. Dr. Snezana T. Tanaskovic is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Agronomy in Čačak, University of Kragujevac, where she has served continuously since 1992. Her academic career progressed from Assistant Professor (1992-2016) to Associate Professor (2016) and Full Professor (2022). She holds a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Novi Sad.

Her research focuses on entomology and agricultural biotechnology, particularly population dynamics of pests like the plum aphid (Cacopsylla pruni). She leads international projects and participates in domestic research initiatives funded through various sources. The Faculty of Agronomy publishes the scientific journal Acta Agriculturae Serbica in biotechnology, and hosts the annual International Biotechnology Symposium.

Prof. Tanaskovic serves as a mentor for doctoral candidates and contributes to academic programs including Basic Academic Studies (General Agronomy, Food Technology, Fruit Growing, Animal Husbandry), Master's studies, and Doctoral studies in Agronomy. She has led research teams in laboratories at the Faculty and participated in the Faculty Council and Teaching and Scientific Council.
