Siri Wassrin is a Lecturer at Linköping University's Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), within the Information Systems and Digitalization (INDIG) division. Her research focuses on sociomaterial challenges in designing innovative IT systems, particularly how historical, social, and material practices constrain technological creativity. She employs Karen Barad's agential realism framework in her PhD studies examining IT innovation in the Swedish public sector.
Education background includes a licentiate thesis analyzing how meanings and identities shape IT design possibilities, and ongoing research on nurturing IT innovations through qualitative case studies.
Key research interests include sociomateriality, healthcare technology design, and creative interaction processes in digital systems. She teaches courses related to information systems at undergraduate and graduate levels.
