Siobhan Robinson is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Hamilton College, where she also serves as Director of Neuroscience. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester. Prior to joining Hamilton in 2016, she held academic positions at Dartmouth College and Oberlin College.
Her research program investigates neurobiological mechanisms underlying learning, memory, and motivation, with emphasis on maladaptive behaviors in disorders like PTSD and substance dependence. Key approaches include:
