Dr. Sinem Zeynep Metin is an Associate Professor at Uskudar University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Mental Health and Diseases, and a lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Psychology department. Since 2014, she has served as head of the Pink Clinic at NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital. Her academic journey began with a medical degree from Istanbul University (2006) followed by psychiatric specialization at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (2010).

She also investigates electrophysiological markers in movement disorders like akathisia and restless legs syndrome.
Recent studies highlight her work on quantifying EEG patterns for geriatric mental health diagnostics and validating maladaptive daydreaming assessment tools. She has developed hybrid AI architectures for OCD classification and explored neuroanatomical differences across major psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Metin leads clinical operations at the Pink Clinic while contributing to psychology education at Uskudar University. Her expertise spans psychosomatic medicine, sexual dysfunction research, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Fluent in English and French, she maintains an active role in both clinical and academic psychiatry.
