Dr. Simyka Carlton serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at Cumberland University, teaching courses focused on Classroom Management within the School of Humanities, Education and the Arts. She concurrently holds the role of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator for Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. Dr. Carlton brings 25 years of professional experience in education, including expertise in reflective practices, physical education, and adult learning theory.
