Simone Schnabel

Simone Schnabel is an Associate Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) in the department Glocal Junctions. Her work focuses on African regional organizations, peace and security architecture, and policy coherence for peace within international development cooperation. She has conducted extensive research on local perceptions of African Union and ECOWAS interventions in Burkina Faso and The Gambia.
