Sait Matty Jaw

Sait Matty Jaw is an Associate Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Research and Policy Development (CRPD), and a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of the Gambia. Since 2018, he has served as the Afrobarometer National Investigator for The Gambia, focusing on public opinion research.

His publications explore local perceptions of regional interventions, post-election crises, truth commissions, and governance reforms.

Publications: Jaw has authored/co-authored numerous reports and articles in journals like International Peacekeeping and Afrobarometer Dispatch, analyzing regional interventions in Burkina Faso and The Gambia, democratic transitions, and security sector dynamics.
