Simon Lockrey is a Professor of Industrial Design at RMIT University's School of Design, specializing in sustainability, design innovation, and food waste reduction. He leads the EFW CRC's REDUCE Program, aiming to halve Australia's food waste by 2030 through industry partnerships. His research spans life cycle assessment (LCA), co-design, and packaging solutions, with global collaborations in 15+ countries. Key roles include Secretary of the International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS) and former Executive Director of Glowpear.
