Simon Liu is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, holding an interdisciplinary background in data analytics, English, and international security. He is a Sydney Law School graduate and trained lawyer, specializing in privacy and international law advisory. Beyond academia, he founded Building Memorii, a humanitarian initiative supporting children in conflict zones like Ukraine, Syria, and Türkiye. He represented Australia in the 2024 UN Youth Leader Fund for Nuclear Disarmament and was featured on SBS News.
