Simon Kozlina

Simon Kozlina is a Lecturer at the School of Private & Commercial Law within UNSW's Faculty of Law & Justice since 2022. Previously, he spent nearly two decades at Western Sydney University. He holds a BSocSc(Hons)/LLB from UNSW and a GDLP from UTS. His research bridges private law theory with pedagogical innovation, focusing on critical pedagogy in legal education and transnational legal governance frameworks.

Research interests include contract law, international trade law, and the intersection of law with public policy implementation. He has authored works on WTO dispute mechanisms, legal education techniques using photography, and the role of transnational governance models. His 2021 article on photography in legal education highlights experimental teaching methods.

Awards include Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Teaching responsibilities include Contracts, Principles of Private Law, and Advanced Contract Law courses. His publications span books, journal articles, and policy evaluations, reflecting expertise in both doctrinal law and educational practice.
