Simon Hubbard is Professor of Computational Biology and Head of School (Biological Sciences) at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on computational approaches to biological systems, particularly in proteomics and bioinformatics.
His main research areas include quantitative proteomics for characterizing protein levels in cells and tissues, genome and transcriptome sequence analysis including proteogenomics, and developing bioinformatics tools for experimental design and data analysis.
