Simon Hix

Simon Hix is a Full-time Professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute (EUI). He holds a Ph.D. from the EUI (1995) and previously taught at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on comparative political behavior, EU institutions, electoral systems, and historical political science. He employs quantitative methods and has contributed to major journals like the American Political Science Review.
