Simon Frauenfelder is a Lecturer at the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. He is a practicing barrister at the Victorian Bar, specializing in commercial and public law, with a focus on regulatory proceedings, administrative law, major torts, class actions, and Royal Commissions. He previously served as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Michelle Gordon AC of the High Court of Australia for 18 months in 2015–2016. Before becoming a barrister, he worked as a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, focusing on commercial, regulatory, and white-collar crime litigation.
His legal work has been featured in publications such as the Australian Law Journal, Criminal Law Journal, and Building and Construction Law Journal. He teaches Remedies (LAWS50036) as part of the Melbourne JD program in 2025.
