His research focuses on the dynamics of seasonal snow in boreal and Arctic environments, including glaciology, cryosphere interactions, and remote sensing applications. He contributes to projects like ESCYMO, enhancing snow model accuracy, and the Tracking Energy and Water in Alpine Environments initiative, which uses advanced instrumentation to study energy and water fluxes in harsh environments.
