Professor Simon A Rodan is affiliated with the School of Management at Lucas College and Graduate School of Business, San José State University. His academic background includes a PhD in Management (2002) and MBA (1991) from INSEAD, France, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (1982) from Imperial College, United Kingdom.
His research focuses on social network processes and simulation modeling, building on the work of James G. March. He has been actively involved in shared governance through roles in the San Jose Senate and Statewide Academic Senate, including chairing the Academic Affairs committee and serving as liaison to key technology and education committees.
