Simeon L. Minić

Dr. Simeon L. Minić is an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Chemistry (Department of Biochemistry) since 2023. His research focuses on bioactive peptides from algae, protein-ligand interactions in food systems, and high-pressure protein stability. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the same institution (2017).

Research Interests: Dr. Minić's work explores algal-derived bioactives for food and biotechnology applications, including protein stability under extreme conditions, phycobiliprotein utilization, and nutraceutical interactions. He leads international projects on algal-based cell media components for lab-grown meat production.
