Ljubodrag S. Aleksić is a junior research assistant at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, within the Department of Biochemistry. Born on May 10, 1998, in Belgrade, Serbia, he is fluent in Serbian, English, and Spanish. His current role involves research in biochemical and biotechnological applications.
Education:
- 2018–2023: BSc in Chemistry, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Chemistry
- 2023–2024: MSc in Chemistry, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Chemistry
Research Interests: Focuses on algal-derived (chromo)peptides as sustainable components for meat cultivation. His work intersects biochemistry, biotechnology, and food science, particularly exploring novel serum replacements in cell culture media.
Grants and Projects:
- Exploring the potential of algal-derived (chromo)peptides as serum replacement components for meat cultivation (Pep4Meat), 2024–2026 (PROMIS type), funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
