Silvia GARAVAGLIA

Silvia GARAVAGLIA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Eastern Piedmont Amedeo Avogadro. Her research focuses on enzymology, particularly aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDH), with applications in cancer therapy and bioremediation. She leads projects addressing toxic aldehyde detoxification, glioblastoma treatment via fluorescent probes, and mesothelioma inhibition through ALDH1A3 targeting. Her work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals related to health and environmental sustainability.
