Silvia Dello Russo serves as Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at Luiss Guido Carli University and holds the administrative position of Associate Dean for Research at Luiss Business School. Her academic career includes prior appointments at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon) and TBS Education (Toulouse), alongside visiting research/lecturing roles at Rotman School of Management, Aston Business School, Catholic University of Rome, WU Vienna, and IAE Lyon School of Management.
Holding a PhD in Organizational Psychology, her research examines three interconnected domains:
- HRM practices for individual development (performance management, feedback systems, coaching, career management)
- Work motivation across the lifespan
- Individual-organizational context interactions (structural, physical, task, and social dimensions)
Her work has secured funding from FCT (Portugal), SIOP Foundation (USA), and PRIN (Italy), appearing in journals including Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management Journal. She demonstrates professional leadership through her term as Representative at Large for the Academy of Management's Career Division (2020-2023) and current role as co-chair of EURAM's Human Resource Management track.
