Silvia Bagdadli is an Associate Professor of Business Organization and Human Resource Management at the SDA Bocconi School of Management, University of Bocconi. She has served as Director of the Specialized Master of Science in Organization and Human Resources Management (MasterOP) since 2021 and previously held the same role from 2003 to 2008. From 2008 to 2014, she directed the Executive Master in Strategic Human Resource Management. She holds an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification.
Her research bridges micro-individual and macro-organizational perspectives in career development, talent management, and HRM, with a focus on international comparative studies. Key areas include the impact of human capital practices on career success, cross-cultural career management systems, and the role of HR in corporate social responsibility.
Bagdadli teaches courses such as Behavioral Skills Seminars, Talent Management and Career Management, and Crafting HR Strategy from Business Strategy. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, combining psychology, sociology, and organizational theory. She has contributed to high-impact journals like Journal of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Review.
Her research has explored topics such as the moderating effects of country development on career success, employability across age demographics, and frameworks for objective career success measurement. She collaborates internationally, evidenced by co-authored works with scholars from diverse institutions.
