Sigrun Kabisch is a Professor of Urban Geography at the University of Leipzig and Head of the Department of Urban and Environmental Sociology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research-UFZ. Her work bridges natural, social, and built environments, focusing on urban vulnerability and resilience, healthy cities, socio-spatial differentiations in large housing estates, and public health in urban contexts.
