Sigrid Weigel is a Professor at the Literature Department of Technische Universität Berlin and Director of the Zentrum für Literaturforschung (Geisteswissenschaftliche Zentren Berlin). She has held previous professorships at the University of Zürich (German Studies, 1992–1998) and the University of Hamburg (Literary Studies, 1984–1990).
