Prof. Dr. Sigrid Nieberle is a Professor leading the Team Modern and Contemporary German Literature with a Focus on Gender and Diversity at TU Dortmund University's Faculty of Cultural Studies, Department of Cultural Studies. Her research emphasizes German contemporary literature, intermediality between literature/film/music, and gender/diversity studies. Key areas include 19th-century popular literature, disability studies in literary history, and intersectional music literature research.
