Dr. Signi Lenea Falk was a Professor of English at Coe College, teaching for 24 years until her retirement in 1971. She held cross-departmental roles in Latin and Theatre, emphasizing interdisciplinary education. Born in Chicago, she studied at Cornell College (B.A. English/Latin), University of Hawaii (M.A. English/Psychology), and the University of Chicago (Ph.D.).
- Published seminal works on Tennessee Williams (1962) and Archibald MacLeish (1966).
- Recipient of 1985 Witwer Center Volunteer Award and 1990 Governor's Volunteer Award.
