Kyriakos G. Siderakis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Hellenic Mediterranean University. He holds a diploma (2000) and PhD (2006) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras. His career includes roles as a consultant for PPC (2008-2010), Professor of Applications at Technical University of Crete (2010-2019), and current leadership positions at HEDNO S.A. as Head of High Voltage Substations and Deputy Head of High Voltage Transmission Lines in Crete/Rhodes.
Research focuses on high voltage insulation systems, power transformers, network diagnostics, and automation. He contributed 2 book chapters, 24 journal articles, and extensive conference publications. Active in IEEE and CIGRE committees, including IEEE Std 1523 and CIGRE WG B2.57 on composite insulators.
