Sideek Seyad

Sideek Seyad is an Associate Professor of EU Law at the Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Stockholm University. He holds a Doctor in Law (LLD) from Stockholm University (1997) and a Master’s in Law (LLM) from University of Colombo (1986). His research focuses on European Banking Union, EU Financial Law, Free Movement of Capital, and Monetary Law.

He has secured research funding from the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation (MMW) for his work on the European Banking Union (2015-2020).
