Shweta Rao Garg

Shweta Rao Garg is a Lecturer at the Center for Leadership Education, bringing a decade of teaching experience from India. She is a multidisciplinary academic, writer, poet, and visual artist who integrates storytelling, theatre, and art appreciation into her pedagogy for engineering students.

• Author of The Tales from Campus: A Misguide to College (2024), a graphic novel addressing diversity and inclusivity in India.
• Co-editor of Female Body Image and Beauty Politics in Contemporary Indian Literature and Culture (2024).
• Poetry collection Of Goddesses and Women (2021) published by Sahitya Akademi.

Her research and artistic work focus on Indian mythology, popular culture, and literary adaptation, informed by her PhD in English from IIT Roorkee and Master’s from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

• Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship recipient (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign).
