Shushan Karapetyan

Shushan Karapetyan is the Course Leader for the MA Global Fashion Retailing program at the London College of Fashion (LCF), part of the University of the Arts London. She lectures on MA Global Fashion Retailing, LCF MBA, and MA Fashion Marketing and Sustainability courses. Prior to LCF, she held roles as a Marketing Lecturer and Course Coordinator at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal, where she taught Marketing Management, Retailing, International Business, and Business Communications.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Shushan has led retail operations across global sectors—from startups to heritage brands like Birks Jewellers and multinational conglomerates such as Li & Fung. Her work spans product development for luxury brands (Prada, Savile Row bespoke tailoring) and mass-market retailers (Costco, Walmart, Dollarama). She specializes in Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Branding, and Luxury Marketing, with expertise in managing offshore production in over 20 countries.

Her academic focus bridges theoretical frameworks with real-world retail strategies, emphasizing global fashion sustainability and innovative merchandising practices.
