Shuronjit Kumar Sarker

Dr. Shuronjit Kumar Sarker is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, Australia. His research focuses on sustainable recovery of critical minerals, hydrometallurgical processes, and environmental engineering solutions. Key projects include neodymium recovery from permanent magnets, biological flue-gas desulfurization, and valorization of mine tailings.

His work spans interdisciplinary areas such as rare earth element extraction, nano/microplastic removal from wastewater, and geospatial analysis of tailing storage facilities. He has contributed to over 10 peer-reviewed articles, emphasizing sustainable resource recovery and environmental technologies.
