Shunsuke Takagi is a Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Tokyo. His research focuses on Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra, particularly on singularities in birational geometry, F-singularities, Frobenius splitting, and local cohomology. He has held editorial roles at Algebra & Number Theory since 2019 and received prestigious awards such as the MSJ Algebra Prize (2019).
