Shujing Feng is a Research Fellow jointly trained by Tsinghua University and the National Academy of Innovation Strategy, CAST. Her research focuses on industrial archaeology, industrial heritage, and the history of technology, with specialized expertise in Wenzhou Alum Mine studies and value assessment of China's industrial heritage.
Education:
- PhD, University of Science and Technology Beijing (2020). Thesis: "Industrial Archaeological Research on Wenzhou Alum Mine from the Perspective of the History of Technology".
- Research at Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage, University of Birmingham (2018).
Her research integrates archaeological methods with technological history to evaluate industrial heritage sites, emphasizing China's alum mining legacy. Current work examines conservation frameworks and socio-economic value metrics for industrial heritage preservation.

Dr. Feng's postdoctoral research is fully funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, supporting fieldwork and publication activities. She actively participates in international heritage conferences including TICCIH 2023 in Montreal, contributing to global industrial heritage discourse through collaborative projects with CAST and Tsinghua University.
