Shubhra Sachan

Shubhra Sachan is a doctoral researcher at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), affiliated with the Research Training Group (RTG2467). She works under Professor Jochen Balbach, focusing on the structural and functional analysis of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs), particularly the parathyroid hormone (PTH), which forms functional amyloids.

Shubhra’s research aligns with RTG2467’s mission to advance understanding of protein disorder in health and disease. She collaborates with experts in structural biology and neurodegenerative disease research, integrating techniques like NMR and biophysical assays into her projects.
