Dr. Shubhankar Sood is a Research Group Leader at HI-STEM (a collaboration between DKFZ and medical faculty Heidelberg) and Co-Founder/Director of the spin-off Genavinta. He received his M.Sc. in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine from University College London (UCL) in 2015-2017, followed by a Ph.D. at DKFZ (2017-2021) studying bone marrow inflammation dynamics, and a postdoctoral research position at HI-STEM (2021-2025) focusing on mesenchymal stem cell niches.
His research interests include:
