Dr. Shu Han is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at the Syms School of Business, Yeshiva University. She holds a PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MPhil from the University of Bergen, and a BS from Fudan University. Her research focuses on IT's role in innovation, knowledge management, and firm performance, with notable work on service expansion in IT industries and the impact of IT on R&D efficiency. Dr. Han teaches at both the Beren and Wilf campuses of Yeshiva University.
Her research interests include IT-enabled knowledge flows, strategic alliances, and the interplay between technology and organizational outcomes. She has explored topics such as star turnover in the performing arts, age/gender dynamics in managerial careers, and the cost implications of IT in banking sectors.
Dr. Han's work has been published in prestigious journals like Information Systems Research and Management Science. She received the Best Paper Award at the 43rd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences for her study on service migration in IT firms. Her research highlights the transformative potential of IT across industries, emphasizing innovation sustainability and competitive strategy.
