Shiva Sivaramakrishnan is the Henry Gardiner Symonds Professor of Accounting and Academic Director of Healthcare Programming at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School, an MBA from Xavier Institute, and a B.Tech from IIT Madras. His research bridges management accounting, financial reporting, and organizational strategy, focusing on planning systems, financial analyst roles, and earnings management. He has won teaching excellence awards and coauthored a managerial accounting textbook.
