Shiva Ahmadi is a Professor of Art and Graduate Advisor at the University of California, Davis, specializing in painting, drawing, and animation. Her work critically explores Middle Eastern cultural aesthetics and contemporary political issues, blending vibrant imagery with themes of violence, corruption, and global power dynamics. She holds degrees from Cranbrook Academy of Arts, Wayne State University, and Azad University. Ahmadi’s art is featured in prestigious collections like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has been exhibited globally, including solo shows in New York, London, and Los Angeles.
