Shirin Vossoughi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Learning Sciences at Northwestern University's School of Education & Social Policy. Her research focuses on the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of learning, particularly in contexts serving migrant, immigrant, diasporic, and marginalized youth. She employs ethnographic and interactional methods to study pedagogical practices that foster transformative learning and educational justice.
