Shiri Krebs is a Professor of Law at Deakin University and Director of the Centre for Law as Protection. She holds affiliations with Stanford University's CISAC and leads the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre's Law and Policy Theme. Her research focuses on counter-terrorism, AI in military technologies, and cybersecurity law, funded by ARC DECRA and Humboldt Fellowships. She advises governments and international bodies like the UN, U.S. Department of Defense, and Australian Defence Force. Awards include the David Caron Prize (2021) and Researcher of the Year (2022). Krebs earned dual degrees from Hebrew University and Stanford Law School, with extensive teaching experience globally.
