Shinhee Yun

Shinhee Yun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark. Her research focuses on advanced nanomaterials and functional oxides, with particular expertise in perovskite oxides, nanomembranes, and heterostructures. She leads investigations into strain engineering techniques and novel fabrication methods for energy-related applications.

Her research explores material properties under engineered strain conditions, heterojunction interfaces, and nanoscale phenomena in transition metal oxides. Recent work advances freestanding oxide membrane synthesis and characterization, with applications in next-generation electronics and energy technologies.
