Ruijuan Xu is an Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University. She holds a B.E. from Zhejiang University, an M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, all in Materials Science and Engineering. Before joining NC State, she was a GLAM Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University and SLAC National Laboratory. Her research focuses on designing novel functional properties in oxide thin films, heterostructures, and membranes, leveraging atomic-scale epitaxy and advanced characterization techniques.
