Tebano Antonello

Tebano Antonello is Full Professor affiliated with the CNR Institute for SuPerconductors, INnovative materials, and devices (SPIN). Research focuses on advanced materials synthesis and characterization, particularly oxide thin films for energy applications including solid oxide fuel cells and superconducting devices.

Specializes in pulsed laser deposition of epitaxial films, electrochemical strain microscopy, and nanoscale ionic transport measurements. Recent work examines proton-conducting ceramics, superconducting superlattices, and nanostructured electrodes for electrochemical devices.

Published extensively on topics including yttrium-doped barium zirconate membranes, samarium-doped ceria heterostructures, and interfacial phenomena in oxide superlattices. Contributes to materials science through novel fabrication techniques and fundamental characterization of transport properties.
