Shika Gupta is a faculty member and Department Chair of Clinical Oral Healthcare at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific. She has been actively involved in teaching, leadership, and clinical education initiatives since 2007.
- Education: DDS from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (2007), Master of Dental Science from University of Malaya, and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Goa Dental College and Hospital.
Dr. Gupta specializes in clinical oral healthcare, dental education, and patient communication protocols. Her work has focused on enhancing dental practice leadership and reconstructive dental sciences, particularly through her roles in the Department of Integrated Reconstructive Dental Sciences and her cofounding of Pacmanual, a clinic guidebook.
She has received multiple teaching awards and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Dr. Gupta has held significant administrative roles, including director of Communication and Calibration, group practice leader, and chair of the Academic Council during the 2022-23 academic year.
