Sheryl Konrad

Sheryl Konrad holds dual roles as Senior Lecturer of Biology and Laboratory Manager for the Biology Department and Neuroscience programs at Carthage College. She manages department labs and teaches biology courses.

Education: B.S. in Biology (Longwood College, Virginia), M.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics (Medical College of Wisconsin, 2014).

Research focuses on viral protein characterization and field ornithology. Pedagogical interests emphasize innovative teaching methods. Prior experience includes conservation physiology research on cranes and science teaching at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

Notable achievements: Member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Beta Beta honor societies.
