Dr. Harry L. Nagel is a Professor of Computer Information Systems and Decision Sciences at The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. John’s University. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Brooklyn College (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa), an M.S. in Operations Research, and a Ph.D. from New York University’s School of Engineering and Science.
His research focuses on Optimization, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, and Decision Sciences. He has authored numerous publications and a popular textbook. Prior to St. John’s, he worked as a Management Science Analyst at Stauffer Chemical Co. He teaches courses such as BUA 1333 Modern Statistics I and BUA 2334 Modern Statistics II.
Dr. Nagel is affiliated with Sigma Xi and Phi Beta Kappa honor societies. His academic contributions span both theoretical and applied domains within his fields of expertise.
