Shervin Motamedi is an Assistant Professor at the CEES School of The Environment, specializing in transport and geotechnics. With nearly two decades of industry and academic experience, his expertise includes construction on soft soil grounds, ground improvement, and coastal environment restoration. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules in soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering, transportation geotechnics, highway design, traffic engineering, and solid mechanics.
His research interests focus on Active Travel Infrastructure, Stakeholders’ Theory in Urban Transport, Ground Improvement, Geotechnical Aspects of Pavements, and Data Analytics in Transport. He has contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals through projects addressing sustainable urban transport and environmental remediation.
