Sheri Fabian is a University Lecturer in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and serves as the Director of the Transforming Inquiry into Learning & Teaching (TILT) initiative. She actively collaborates with colleagues in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) to advance scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), with a focus on experiential pedagogy and fostering safe, inclusive classroom environments. Her work aligns with SFU’s commitment to equity, diversity, and decolonizing practices in education.

Fabian mentors graduate students in SFU’s Certificate Program for University Teaching and Learning and supports new faculty in FASS. She has served as an Academic Integrity Advisor since 2008 and secured five Teaching and Learning Development Grants, including one focused on decolonizing and Indigenizing curricula. Her current teaching includes CRIM 370 (Directed Readings) and CRIM 864 (Advanced Qualitative Research Methods) for Summer 2025.
