Dr. Sheng Yu Ang is a Research Fellow at Monash University's Neuromedicines Discovery Centre (NDC) within the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS). He specializes in GPCR pharmacology and receptor signal transduction to advance drug discovery for central nervous system (CNS) disorders. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals addressing health and well-being.
Research focuses include novel drug candidates for CNS disorders and understanding GPCR signaling mechanisms. He leads the 2025 project 'Discovery of Novel GPR17 Modulators for Multiple Sclerosis' as Primary Chief Investigator.
