Prof. Shen Cen-Chu is a Professor at the Graduate Institute of International Politics and the Graduate Institute of National Policy and Public Affairs at National Chung-Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Konstanz, Germany. From October 2009 to July 2010, he served as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Chinese and Korean Studies/European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany. His academic career includes roles as Dean of the College of Social Science and Management (2005–2008) and Director of the Graduate Institute of International Politics (2001–2003). He also held administrative positions at the Institute of European and American Studies, Academia Sinica, Taipei, from 1992 to 1998.
Shen’s research focuses on International Relations, European Integration, and Cross-Taiwan Strait Dynamics. He has contributed to studies on globalization, regional economic integration, and transnational political cooperation. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical insights from East Asia and Europe.
